Just want to let my subscribers know your bouquets won’t be ready until Sunday afternoon/ early Sunday evening. My step sister is having her 50th birthday party today and with lots of rain in the forecast for Sunday. Today (Saturday) is the only real opportunity I have to get the work in the fields done this week. I hope this doesn’t cause any difficulties for anyone. Buckets of flowers make me smile every single time. 🌸

I was out harvesting until 10 PM last night, bringing in lupines, stock, daisies, alliums,euphorbia , Solomon’s seal, bachelor buttons and more β€” all grown right here at Nourish and Bloom.

After harvest, the flowers are tucked into buckets overnight to condition before they ever make it into a bouquet. That extra step helps them hydrate properly, open beautifully, and last longer in the vase.

Had a few early blooms so I tried my hand at making a bouquet tonight. The garden is really starting to take off. I’m thinking the first round of subscription bouquets will go out next weekend if all goes well. And a lil note to self : plant more alliums this fall so I can mass produce the bouquet a made tonight next spring, because I think it turned out quite well. Let me know what you think? Can’t wait for all the new blooms this year! We still have a few subscriptions available if you’re interested in having fresh bouquets like the one featured here every week to bring home and enjoy.
