BF Northern Grocery

BF Northern Grocery would like to be a small store that serves multiple communities in rural Northern Vancouver Island. It would like to be the preferred grocery store. The opening of this grocery store will affect the ability of North Island residents to live within their budget, also affecting the choice that people have on the North Island, also the surrounding areas and it would like to bring back the in house butcher. The nearest comparable store is over 200 kilometers away. It would like to be the store to purchase preferred products. While some people may have the ability to drive 400 kilometers round trip, many do not. In addition, BF. Northern Grocery would like to support the local food bank which will be a helping hand for the residents that live within a budget. BF Northern Grocery is in the process of gathering funds this is a lengthy process, we're asking for the help of anyone willing to be part of this opportunity to bring another choice on the north island and it's rural areas.

Funding is taking a little longer then we expected! We have a few questions to ask everyone. We would like to know if anyone has some ideas of where we could get funding? As the places we have applied to are slow responses. And what are some local companies that will build a building from the ground up? So everyone is clear this business page of BFNG is for promotional an insight purposes. We appreciate criticism as long as it's positive criticism. We do live on the north island and understand we have to get shipments from afar. It may or may not be the best quality but we have to make due with what we receive. We appreciate all the hard work our local businesses do and we hope to join them with our new venture coming soon!

Just an update:
So everyone will have an idea on what kinds of products we will be carrying. We will hopefully be purchasing products from Comox Valley and the Okanagan.

Don, Jeremey, and I (Amanda) are in the process of opening our own grocery store in Port McNeill. We have everything lined up just awaiting funding and investors that want to be a part of this great opportunity to get us going any support is greatly appreciated. We are bring in products locally grown in B.C such as produce, meat, we plan to have products in the bakery and deli that are B.C as well. We are bringing the butcher back so you can get cut to order selections of fresh meat! Please like and share this page we are interested in seeing how many people are interested!
