With a few hiccups and a price change (not the sellers fault, the place he orders from misquoted him) our giant bag of pig feed is here.
Bob and I spent the better part of last night and this morning moving it with buckets from the bag to my barrels. Fingers crossed this will be enough to feed the pigs until they go to the butcher.

Born: Nov 25th, 2025 (6months and 5days old)
Father: Stewart, former petting zoo buck – blue eyes – white and red
Mother: Brown and white, blue eyes, extremely friendly
Angel is a 6 month old extremely friendly buckling like both his parents, he has beautiful blue eyes. He is naturally polled, however because of head butting his cousin on the daily he has worn the skin and hair off where horns should be.
The kidding produced every Nigerian Dwarf colour under the rainbow (black, grey, brown, red and white). See last 2 pictures for pic of Mother and kids.

Sadly the sale is over at Brooke's Acres (2940 Chiswick Line)
GOOD NEWS though! We have fresh eggs in the stand for $5 a dozen, all cartons have a save $1 sticker for your next purchase.
MORE GOOD NEWS! We have added Lemongrass scented Gardener’s Soap to the farm stand.
Gardener’s soap contains pumice to scrub dirt and gunk from your hands and out from under your fingernails
however due to regulations I cannot say things like the oils and butters I used are known for nourishing, softening the skin and have healing abilities, so I won’t.
We also still have lots of free stuff on the shelves.
The list of ingredients for each soap are:
Gardener’s soap with Walnut oil
Ingredients: Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Orbignya Oleifera (Babassu) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Juglans Regia (Walnut) Oil, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, sugar, Kaolin Clay, Pumace Powder, lemongrass essential oil (Allergens Citral, Geraniol, and Limonene)
Ingrédients : huile de fruit d'Olea Europaea (olive), beurre de Butyrospermum Parkii (karité), huile de graines d'Orbignya Oleifera (Babassu), huile de Cocos Nucifera (noix de coco), huile de Juglans Regia (noix), huile de graines de Ricinus Communis, sucre, argile de kaolin, poudre de puma, huile essentielle de citronnelle (Allergènes Citral, Géraniol et Limonène)

On Saturday Bob and I attended the 2nd annual Small animal buy/sell/trade event that was held at Trout Creek Feed Store.
No I did not come home with any animals 😢but I did come home with a grape vine, a gooseberry bush and some flowers.
I did enter all the draws and won 10 bags of feed!!!
