Pebble Beach Prawns We sell live whole BC spot prawns during fishing Season, and frozen spot prawn tails in-Season and post-Season, all harvested by our commercial fishing vessel.

Attention Powell river Seafood lovers!

The commercial fishing vessel, Night Flight is returning again with its annual halibut dock sale.
Fresh halibut will be available on Wednesday starting at 9 AM .

They will be located at the south Harbour loading zone just to the left of the ferry terminal.

Halibut will be available for purchase by the whole fish at $14 a pound. Last year they sold out by the end of the day. This will probably be the last opportunity to buy fresh fish at the dock in 2025.

Doug and John Koray’s halibut sale is going to start at 2 PM this Friday, September 20 at the Westview South Harbour – near the ferry loading ramp . There’s red snapper and ling cod too! Most of the halibut are about 12 pounds but there will be a few about 20 pounds. I suggest you buddy up with a neighbour or family in case you want to buy a bigger halibut. There will be enough crew so the line up won’t be too long. See ya there!

Doug and John Koray aboard the “Night Flight” are bringing Halibut, black cod, Ling cod and rockfish to the Westview Harbour about September 18. I will give more precise eta in about a week.

Here are a few more details about Elisha
120 hp Ford Lehman engine with 3500 hours rebuilt Borg Warner clutch with 20 hours
Radar, plotter, sounder, VHF, etc.
Two alternators charge house, batteries, and starting battery into separate systems
Lots of freshwater and fuel
Heated hot water plug-in at the dock or from heat exchanger one engine running.
Hydraulic pump with electric clutch drives, a anchor winch and a commercial pot hauler
It’s a lot of boat for 8K

If you were ever interested in cruising the coast on a budget this is the boat for you.
I bought Elisha to put her commercial C license on the Raven Bay. I will be willing to take offers when I attend the boat at 5 PM this Friday afternoon. I’m asking $8000 or best offer. She’s a good little boat. Durable, comfortable, easy to maintain and cheap on fuel.
I will be showing the boat from 4 PM to 5 PM just before her sale.

Kim Mikkelsen is on his boat in the South Harbor, by the ferry dock, selling frozen prawns from 10 AM to 2 PM today. He’ll be there tomorrow, Saturday, also from 10 AM till 2 PM. If you can make it down there now is a good time to get your stock of frozen prawns to last you till Christmas. There are no guarantees that you will be able to buy frozen prawns later this year.

The 2024 BC Spot Prawn season ended on Friday June 21. and fresh prawns are no longer available. Frozen prawn tails in 1 lb containers will be for sale from the freezer boats while supplies last.

Coincidentally, today there will be swimming scallops for sale from 1 PM to 6 PM, or until sold out, at the Westview dock near the Ferry ramp.
The price is $10 per pound.
