We apply aloe vera gel to our calves immediately after branding because we believe that little things like this make a difference.

Branding is a necessary practise because humans can be greedy and the reality is, calves will get stolen without a brand. Cattle rustling has been on the rise these last few years so most ranchers brand, including us.
We paint the aloe onto the fresh brand to provide pain relief and instant cooling, and I swear the calves appreciate it.

We believe in doing all we can to reduce our animal's stress and pain. Why not?
