Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? JD Meats is seeking a reliable and friendly individual to join our team as a Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for handling cashier duties, serving hot food, stocking inventory, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Cashier Duties:Efficiently and accurately handle customer transactions at the cash register.
Process payments, issue receipts, and provide change.
Maintain a neat and organized cashier area.

Customer Service:Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.

Hot Food Service:Serve hot and ready-to-eat food items to customers.
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
Keep the food service area clean and well-stocked.

Inventory Management:Assist in restocking and organizing shelves and displays.
Monitor product levels and communicate inventory needs to the management team.
Participate in periodic inventory counts.

Qualifications:
Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of basic food safety practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
