Delta Air Lines has revealed plans to launch nonstop flights between Los Angeles and Manila beginning in 2027, marking a major expansion of its transpacific network.
The route will connect Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the Philippines, providing travelers with a direct option between Southern California and one of Southeast Asia’s busiest cities.
Delta said the service will help meet strong demand from Filipino communities in the United States, as well as growing tourism and business travel between the two regions.
The airline has not yet confirmed which aircraft will operate the route, though long-haul wide-body jets such as the Airbus A350 or Airbus A330neo are considered likely candidates.
Industry analysts say the new route could significantly strengthen Delta’s presence in Asia and offer travelers more direct connections between the U.S. West Coast and Southeast Asia.
