Thank you for all the support we have been receiving on our post. This community we have built over the 40 years in business has been amazing.
If you had told Kelly 30 years ago that we’d be selling a side of beef at $6.99/lb, he’d probably laugh and say “yeah right.”
But here we are today, 2026, dealing with a costly skyrocketing beef market. Our prices don’t go up because we are trying to pocket more, they go up because the market goes up. Plain and simple.
However, judging by the other cattle producers comments and support, we aren’t out to lunch with our prices. If you aren’t interested in buying a side of beef from us, that’s okay. We usually have a waiting list of 6+ people for sides from us anyways.
Our recent post was to simply state we dont appreciate the negative, out of pocket comments, on our social media platform. Kelly has been in this business long enough, he’s able to roll with the punches. If you are going to be saying something negative towards us, we will do our best to filter and remove. Sometimes even block you from our page. We have been doing this for every post that has ever been made. Whether it’s been comments on our prices, the appearance of our staff, list goes on and on unfortunately. Price you pay being on social media I guess.
