The Local Food Initiative began hosting their weekly Farmers Market throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall months in 2017. Since, we have hosted a variety of local producers and have been able to offer the town of Revelstoke easy access to local goods. The LFI hosts both regular and periodic vendors, so the market always has something for everyone!

May is early harvest season and the signs of fresh produce is always exciting after a long winter. There are lots of greens, asparagus, spinach, lettuce and radishes as well as freshly cut tulips and rhubarb. And of course the year round staples like wine, eggs, meats, baked treats and condiments.
Farmers market season is ON and we're stoked to welcome more and more vendors each week.

Mark your calendar, tell a friend and get your nice market dresses ready. See you on first street every saturday morning from 8am to 1pm.

We are still looking for a honey vendor as well as somebody selling jams and preserves. If you know anybody please share the word.

📣 if you have any nutrition coupons left over this is your last chance to use them - we have only two more markets left this season Oct 18 & 25th!
The coupons are not valid at the winter market so please buy meat, eggs and produce now.
There will be a good variety of vendors at the market and the farmers still have lots of fresh produce.

If you have any nutrition coupons that you won't be using please drop them off at the booth, it's the first booth in front of CIBC, and we'll make sure the coupons are being spent.
