We have made this right with the customer and all has been resolved. It was a miscommunication on both sides and the little boy will be enjoying a nice yummy treat on us here at Foodland tonight! Wishing you a Happy Birthday!
Due to the post going around about a cake made at this location, I feel the need to clarify. We DID NOT print the picture that was put on the cake. The customer who ordered the cake was told we DO NOT have an edible paper printer. The customer then brought one in printed on regular paper, and asked for us to put it on the cake.
We try to accommodate all customer requests ,so with that said, the order was completed. It did not come out as the customer had hoped, clearly, based on the post on Facebook; therefore whoever ordered this cake can reach out to the store for a refund and going forward, we are not going to accept any other special requests like this due to us not having the appropriate materials. We have various designs in our decorator book on display in the bakery for you to choose from.
Hope this clears it up for everyone!
On a side note, I have been away from the store this week due to having emergency surgery. I am planning to return Monday or Tuesday if anyone wants to reach out to me, Stacy-Store Manager-to discuss and if further clarification is needed, I would be happy to clarify and discuss.
