🌧️✨ First market of the year, done and dusted!

Rain couldn’t dampen our spirits at the Peninsula Country Market and we wouldn’t have it any other way. First market of the season in the books and what a way to kick things off! 🙌

A massive thank you to this incredible live band who kept the energy high, the vibes warm and every stallholder smiling through the drizzle. An accordion, a couple of guitars and pure good energy🎶

Here’s to a fantastic season ahead running all the way through to Thanksgiving! Come find us, rain or shine. ☀️🍂

Tomorrow, the market wakes up. 🌱
Right now, the stalls are quiet. The tables are bare. But somewhere tonight, hands are washing just-pulled carrots, bundling herbs by lamplight, loading vans in the dark before anyone else is awake.
By morning, Peninsula Country Market will be alive again — the smell of fresh bread drifting across the grounds, jars of honey catching the light, neighbours becoming regulars, strangers becoming friends over a shared love of good, local food.
We've been counting down. We know you have too.

🚧Traffic Notice: The Brentwood Bay Festival and Parade is happening Saturday, June 6!
The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. and will travel west along Wallace Dr from Newton Place, turning north onto West Saanich Rd and finishing at HEL,HILEȻ Park.
🚗Road closures will be in place for approx 30–40 minutes during the parade. Side streets along the route will be closed.
👮‍♂️ Central Saanich Police Service and flaggers will be along the route to assist with traffic.

On June 6, make sure you clap extra loud for Bijou du Bayou - a Cajun meets Zydeco, TexMex, and Canadiana band bringing sweet tunes and fascinating instruments. It's our first market of the summer and Bijou du Bayou is going to make it extra special 🌞🎶
