Welcome to the Promistery! We have a beautiful 69 sprawling acres of untouched land that has never had fertilizers of pesticides on it.

We grow organic produce in compost, yum :)

Good News, we have eggs!
$8 for an 18 pack for our smaller sized eggs from our new batch of pullets (until they grow larger).
$8 still for our organic, pasture raised eggs per dozen.
Available Monday to Saturday at the farm stand.
Cash or e-transfer only. First come, First serve.

Please note that this year we will only have Eggs and Grass-Fed Beef (Stay tuned for news on that).

To our valued Promistery Customers,

This coming Saturday, August 23rd, will be our final scheduled opening of the farm stand for the season.

The Farm is not closing, for we are still offering eggs, honey, garlic, candles, soap, mushroom tinctures/powders for self checkout Monday-Saturday along with a some vegetables while supplies last.

In early Autumn we will post when the grass-fed beef will be available for the many who have patiently inquired. From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank each and everyone of you for your support over these past six years.

Our Rustic Ranger Meat Birds have been picked up and we have fresh chicken again.

Whole birds were sold out during our pre-order process but we will have cuts available for sale (Breast, Thighs, Drumsticks, Legs, Wings) along with Liver and Hearts.

Chicken will be available for fresh pickup starting tomorrow Friday Aug 15th from 9 am to 4pm or during our regular Saturday Farmstand Hours from 9:30 to 3:30

Our pastured Rustic Ranger meat birds are off to get processed next Wednesday Aug 13th.

This will be our last batch of meat birds for the year so we have decided to open up a few more pre-orders for people who would like a guaranteed bird.

Fresh Pickup will likely start Friday August 15th

We are having a sale on our Mushroom Tinctures/Powders and on some of our honey that has crystalized. You can order online for instore pickup while supplies last or come visit us on Saturday from 9:30 - 3:30.

The crystalized honey is still perfectly good and can be turned back into as new condition by soaking the jar in some warm water.

We will have Fresh Garlic, both Siberian Red and German Mennonite varieties and Chicken Bone Broth from our organic, pasture raised birds available at the farmstand on Saturday from 9:30-3:30 at 3428 Eleventh Street

We are taking deposits on our second batch of pasture raised broiler chickens!

This round we are trying out a different breed, Rustic Rangers. They take roughly a month longer to get to finish weight but we believe it will be worth it

They will be processed on Wednesday August 13th with pickup starting likely on Friday August 15th/Saturday August 16th.

We will also have a limited amount of cuts (Breast, Legs, Thighs, Drums, Wings, etc) at the same time.

Fresh Chicken and Garlic Scapes are in!

Whole birds have been sold out through pre-orders but we do have cuts available. Chicken Breast, Thighs, Drumsticks, Legs, Livers, Hearts are available today (Friday) from 10 am to 6 pm or Saturday from 9:30 - 3:30

Garlic Scapes are also available, or you can come and pick your own!

Our next batch of meat birds went out on pasture this week.

We are excited to be doing something a little different, instead of the usual White Rock breed we are trying out Rustic Rangers.

They take an extra month to reach maturity, are excellent pasture foragers, and we are told they have much more flavourful dark meat and make the most excellent broth you could imagine.

We will be taking deposits in person on Saturday at our farmstand from 9:30 - 3:30

If there are any left after that we will have them available on our website the week following.
