The words "FREE DELIVERY" gets tossed around and people feel that means its less expensive.

We do NOT do what so many online services do:

#1. We do NOT markup food prices. Many online services do not give in store pricing, especially in store promotions.

#2. We do NOT have contracts. You are not locked in with us. When you need our service, simply call.

#3. We do NOT have a sign up fee or hidden fees.

#4. We do NOT put auto-tips on the total. That should be up to the customer.

#5. We do NOT use an app for ordering. ALL our orders are over the phone with a REAL person. No pressing numbers to get to a menu. We talk through your order. We ask pertinent questions. You get a real person.

HERE IS OUR EXTRAS:

#1. We HELP put groceries away. So many of our customers need that added help. We want to help them stay independent as long as we can.

#2. For many customers, we open difficult items. This allows for more choices.

#4. We actually call from the store if their are any issues. We are incredibly picky. If we won't buy it for our table, why should we buy it for yours? We will call and discuss it with you! Maybe there is a substitute.

#5. We check expiry dates. We do it for us...therefore we do it for you!

#6. You get the same people bringing your groceries each time. We get to know you and vice versa. We put the PERSONAL in personal shopping.

#7. We will help work within your budget. We realize that some are on fixed incomes and do not have access to flyers or online. So we will do our very best to meet the needs within the budget.

#8. We do little extras....where we can, we have helped our customers with things like mailing a letter, changing a bulb, tossing garbage in the bin at apartments, etc....

#9. We will work with P.O.A. to ensure smooth transactions and to ensure the customer does not get "ripped off".

#10. For several of our customers, we double up as a wellness check for loved ones not in the area.

Give this a read. A great mission for women and children in need!

WestView Centre 4 Women in the heart of St Catharines has been clothing and feeding and helping women and children in need for many years. We have been bringing milk every week and many of our clients have given us bag after bag of clothing and supplies to help these ladies out.

Westview served approximately 35,000 hot meals meals to date this year. They having been supplying neccessities to families (in particular, women and their children). "Westview Centre4Women is a weekly resource Centre, where women of all walks of life are welcomed into".

As winter approaches, one very important need is WINTER gloves, hats, mitts, scarves, blankets, boots, etc. If you have any donations, we can make arrangements in St Catharines to pick up and take to the shelter.

We have witnessed first hand the need at Westview. The women there are so incredibly grateful for the help. And the compassion with which the help is given is second to none!

Westview doesnt just provide meals. They do crafts and have events for the ladies to attend. There seems to always be something going on. Such a beacon of light and hope in the community!

A gentleman (we will name him Bob) approached our vehicle just moments ago. He had used our service when he was not well.
He explained he still has our flyer but that he always remembers us and the help we gave.
He is doing so much better now and is strong enough and healthy enough to get out again. We are so happy he is doing well.
He encouraged us with his kind words of gratitude...AND THAT IS WHERE OUR DAY SHINES!

To "Bob". It was a pleasure seeing you again.

Often, when customers don't call, sadly they have passed on, so it's always nice when we find out a customer is doing OK.

Please consider this:

We have a program that is for the first time being made public after more than 5 years. So many of our customers are on a fixed income and living in subsidized housing. We have people who SPONSOR a client by paying for thier actual base fee of $20.00. Some may do it once, ongoing, a one time payment, etc....We keep you fully anonymous and we have several things in place to assure that the service is not abused and that people that truly need the help can have a bit of a repreive from time to time.

When our customers find out that someone, "PAID IT FORWARD", the reaction of gratitude is reward enough. It is a blessing to help.
PLEASE DO NOT state in the comments that you would like to know more info or are interested in sponsoring someone...private message us because we do not want other people seeing and trying to scam you.
