We don't get surprised by much on the homestead anymore, but Aurora was surprised to find a skunk!
Hopefully, none of our dogs or cats get sprayed by him.
On that note, does anyone know of a good way to get skunk off their dogs....?

Our best momma hen is about to hatch another batch!
She is sitting on duck eggs and they should be hatching in the next day or two!

Always wondering if your turkey or chicken is truly broody?
A great way to tell if your bird is broody is to test them with an egg. Leave an egg outside the nest and see if she pulls it under her.
If she does, then she is very likely broody and won't break her broodiness!
