It was a busy few days getting our potatoes in the ground just before the skies opened up. Every bag of our pierogi starts right here — with potatoes planted by our family on our organic farm. Now we wait for a little sunshine. From field to table, the 2026 pierogi crop is officially underway! 🌱

Dinner on the BBQ doesn’t get much easier than this 🔥🥟

Our foil pocket pierogi are the ultimate lazy summer meal — toss in frozen pierogi, onions, sausage, butter, or whatever you love, seal the foil, and throw it on the grill. That’s it. Pro tip: add a layer of parchment paper inside so the pierogi don’t stick to the foil 🙌

No pots.
No boiling.
No cleanup

Throw our fully cooked pierogi on the BBQ straight from frozen with a little butter, onions, sausage, or your favourite toppings… seal the foil pouch and let the grill do the work. Crispy edges, smoky flavour, almost no cleanup. 🙌

Yesterday was World Agritourism Day Sometimes we get so busy planting potatoes, making pierogi, and running the farm that we forget to stop and realize… we’re part of something much bigger.

At Pierogerie Polish Foods Inc., agritourism means inviting people onto the farm to experience where food really comes from. From walking through our potato fields, to learning how to make pierogi by hand, to sitting down together to share a meal — our farm-to-table classes are about more than food. They’re about connection, tradition, and creating memories.

We host farm-to-table pierogi making workshops right here on the farm 🥟🌱

We’re spreading well-aged compost mixed with wood chips across over 20,000 linear feet of potato rows to feed the soil that feeds our potatoes.

No shortcuts.
Just organic matter, biology, hard work and a whole lot of patience.

Healthy soil helps hold moisture, support microbial life, and slowly release nutrients throughout the growing season — all important when you’re growing potatoes organically.
