Pink oysters are such an interesting oyster.. they're absolutely stunningly beautiful! They have such a neat iridescence depending on which way you look at them, and they are a much denser mushroom.. some even call it rubber type texture.. lots of people love apparently making vegan bacon and jerky with them!! I unfortunately don't have the time for this round to trial and test but would anybody be interested in any before I dehydrate it all!?.. must pick up today or tomorrow evening!

Purchased a rotary chicken plucker, as much as I love the stand-ups and the control. These are way easier on your wrists...

Hey everyone! Just a heads up if you don't hear from me much throughout September, don't be alarmed! We are just that busy!

Between chicken contracts, markets, and everything else on our schedule, we literally have something going on every single day of the month except my birthday!

Evenings will be my only downtime to catch up, reply to messages, and answer emails.

We're back from a 4 day trip to Nordegg for a chicken contract! Went to check on the greenhouse and loved what I saw!! Will have some oysters in prime tomorrow at the ardrossan Farmers market!

Nothing like finding a deal and actually getting to it in time!! Found a 30qt all American with the old poppycock valve....

Nothing like finding a deal and actually getting to it in time!! Found a 30qt all American with the old poppycock valve.. regular new with jiggler is about 700$-800 and valve is $100.. got it for $170!.. now I can run 8 blocks a run instead!! Yay!! That's one less run a week now!

Alright! So Some exciting news..

Just finished speaking with the main organizer of Edmonton Renaissance Faire that will be happening end of May 2027 right in downtown Edmonton at the Whitemud Equestrian Park

Not only have we been accepted but ran an Idea across her table on bringing the generator with popcorn and cotton candy potential.. The verdict is well received and since the market grounds will be setup as a village.. but were going to setup the toadstool barter hut..

Question is, what do we focus on trying to make sure we bring or what crazy items should we try and work on this winter to bring!?

Hello my precious little babies!! These were sowed April 30.. nearly 3-4 months to get to this stage... The middle grow outs are approx 8 months old..
This is the reason why I can't just plant and have some avail next month!

Always love meeting up with old friends that we only get to see once or twice a year! Thanks for grabbing a pic Don!
