☀️ Good morning, friends. 🤍
One of the reasons lately I keep reminding myself why I fell in love with sourdough is it reminds me of how God works in our lives, and learning to trust His timing.
You can't rush sourdough. It takes patience, time, care, and consistency. The dough is stretched, folded, rested, and sometimes left waiting longer than expected. Yet every step has a purpose. Without those quiet moments, it never becomes what it was created to be.
Isn't our walk with God so much the same?
There are seasons where it feels like nothing is happening. We pray, we wait, we trust, and we wonder if He's still working. But just like the dough rising when no one can see it, God is often doing His greatest work in the unseen places of our hearts.
Every loaf I bake reminds me that beautiful things aren't built overnight. They are shaped with love, refined through patience, and finished in perfect timing.
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." - Exodus 14:14
I hope today brings you a little peace, a little patience, and a reminder that God hasn't forgotten you. He's still working, even when you can't yet see the rise. ❤️
Have a blessed Thursday, friends. Thank you for supporting my little microbakery and allowing me to share both bread and a little bit of my heart with you.
