St. Marys Farmers' Market

St. Marys Farmers' Market We are a seasonal producer-based market located at Milt Dunnell Field in St. Marys. Local tastes better! The St. Marys and surrounding communities. to 12 noon.

Thank you to sponsors Perth/Oxford National Farmers Union,
Farmers' Markets Ontario and the Ontario Federation of Agriculture. Marys Farmers' Market was established in 1992 by just a handful of vendors intent on bringing fresh, healthy, local food to the folks of St. Since then it has grown to as many as 20 local vendors when the market is in full swing at summer's peak. One of the goals of the o

riginal group of vendors was to encourage other local farmers to grow quality vegetables, fruits, berries and other products ... to create marketing opportunities for local growers and producers ... and to foster a spirit of understanding and cooperation amongst farmers and consumers. In this, the early vendors of the St. Marys Farmers' Market were well ahead of their time with the current and very popular promotion of Eat Fresh ... Eat Local. Marys Farmers' Market is a "producer only" market. That means that only vendors selling only their own products, or supplemented sometimes with products from neighbouring farms, are allowed to sell at the market. With its focus on local farmers, the St. Marys Farmers' Market is known for its quality fresh and local produce which includes a good selection of fresh vegetables, fruits and berries, frozen meats, home baking, home preserves, local goat cheeses, breads and a variety of arts and crafts. Full market season vendors include Sheldon Berries, Ann Slater's Fresh Organic Vegetables, Eschol Farm, Breadtopia, and McCully's Hill Farm. In addition, a number of other local growers join the market as their crops come into season. If you want to Eat Fresh ... Eat Local, the St. Marys Farmers' Market is an ideal visit during market season ... May to October. Market hours are every Saturday from 8 a.m. Located at the Milt Dunnell fields aka “ the flats”
