Walch Family Strawberries

Walch Family Strawberries History of Walch Strawberries

Our family has been growing Strawberries since 1975. Strawberry production in Stratford started in 1994.

We planted the first Strawberries the year our oldest daughter was born. As our loyal customers remind us every year, our 4 children Katherina, Louisa, Gloria and Georg all spent their first summer of their lives in the stroller at the Booth of the Strawberry Field and throughout the years. To this day, they are all an integral part of the production and marketing of our Berries and helping in wha

tever way they can. They are trying to do their best in serving our valued customers and getting better every year. We take pride and work hard to deliver a superior product. We supply Strawberries picked daily fresh as well as Pick your own (please bring your own containers or baskets for Pick your own)...Thank you

Our family invites and welcomes you to enjoy an outing in Perth County, just outside of the City of Stratford

No pets please...Thank you! Our Vision

🍓 That’s a Wrap on Strawberry Season! 🍓

Sorry for the delay in our end-of-season message. Before strawberry season ended, we jumped right into barley harvest, and getting the strawberry patch ready for next year. The farming never stops! We also took time to celebrate with our amazing pickers from Jamacia after a busy and fruitful season by taking them on a trip to Niagara Falls. Later in the week we enjoyed a Jamaican meal prepared by one of our long-term pickers. It was delicious!

As the last berries are picked and the fields grow quiet, we want to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone — from first-time visitors to longtime customers and friends — who supported us this strawberry season. We truly love the hustle and bustle on the farm, when everyone comes out to enjoy our berries. Whether you picked your own, stopped by our strawberry booth, or shared kind words and photos, your support means the world to us.

This season came with its fair share of challenges and weather surprises, but your patience, smiles, and enthusiasm made it all worthwhile. Farming isn’t always easy, but a community like ours makes it meaningful every single day. We’re already exited and dreaming of next year’s berries — sweeter, juicier, and grown with even more love. Next year will be 50 years that our family has been growing strawberries. Until then, we hope you enjoy every last jar of jam, frozen bag, and berry-stained memory from this season.

A big thank you also goes to our amazing staff and family that made this season a success. You all did a great job and we could not have done it without you.

With gratitude,

The Walch-Stoll Strawberry Team
