"We love creating fun things for people to wear. We started out in custom jewelry and have expanded into custom hats.

We've had our business for almost 3 years now. We started at a homeschool Christmas market in 2023 and now we have attended a few different types of markets since. We like working with our hands and seeing all the fun designs people pick out. We are always thinking of different patches to add or different styles of hats.

You pick any hat you like and 3 patches of your choice for $25!"

Behind every farmers' market is a farmer whose hard work helps feed our community.

The majority of Canadian farms are owned and operated by families. During planting and harvest season, many farm families work 12- to 16-hour days, often seven days a week, because crops can't wait for weekends or holidays. These long hours, often working alone, can take a toll on mental health. We are grateful for organizations like Agriculture Wellness Ontario and initiatives from Boundary Roasting Company | Specialty Coffee Roaster with their "Grounds for Conversation" that help address these issues.

Every dollar spent at a farmers' market helps support local farmers facing increasing costs for seed, fertilizer, fuel, equipment, and labour. Farm Credit Canada shows an increase of 30-40 percent in farming costs in the last 4 years. Your purchase does more than buy fresh food- it helps preserve local agriculture and strengthens our community.

Food prices continue to rise for all Canadians, but where we choose to shop matters. By committing to purchase your in-season produce from local farms instead of big-box stores, you're making a choice that directly supports local farmers and the future of our market.
