RECIPE OF THE DAY!!
Ahi Tuna Steaks – Seared and Sliced with Sesame-Soy Glaze 🐟🔥
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 Ahi tuna steaks (6 oz each, 1-inch thick)
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp sesame oil
• 1 tbsp honey
• 1 tsp grated ginger
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 tbsp sesame seeds
• 1 tbsp vegetable oil
• ½ tsp black pepper
• ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Whisk soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, ginger, and garlic in a bowl.
2. Coat tuna steaks with the marinade and let sit for 10 minutes.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat until smoking.
4. Sear tuna for 1-2 minutes per side for rare to medium-rare.
5. Remove from heat, slice thinly, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
