Friendly reminder we will be taking next week off for our summer break to spend sometime together and with our family.

We apologize for any inconveniences and sincerely appreciate the understanding. It’s been a very busy and hectic summer and we can’t thank you enough for the continued support but it’s time for us to recharge, reset, rest and regroup!

We will still be doing our Little Perks Coffee Co drop this week and will have plenty of stock this weekend at the shop. So feel free to stock up until we get back.

We hope everyone is enjoying the remaining days of summer and is getting excited about some fall pasta!

This weekends menus!

A few little changes here and there…

Stuffed pasta will be tortellacci. The largest stuffed pasta in the tortelli family line up. It will be simply stuffed with seasoned ricotta.

Gramigna paglia e fieno is back. It will be available for retail as well as hot lunch.

We will be serving it with a ragu bianco (white ragu). Made from our cultured cream, prosciutto di parma, sofrito & charred corn grown half a kilometre from the shop. It’s a rip on the sauce gramigna is traditionally served with but we’re replacing the peas with corn.

The ragu bianco will also be available in the retail case as well.

Our arugula pesto is also back this weekend. Made from arugula and basil from our garden!

We have also decided to take a real summer break the last week of August. So we apologize for any inconveniences a head of time. If there is anything you’d like feel free to directly message us on instagram or contact us via email and we can arrange a pick up at the shop during the week.

Today is the last day to get seats form our pasta night dinner with Little Perks Coffee Co & thecampusplaystudio next Tuesday August 18th. There is only a handful of seats left. You can purchase them through their website.

As always thank you for the continued support. It means a great deal to us and we truly can’t put into words how thankful we are.

Tomorrow’s Retail & HotLunch Menus!

Better late than never…

This weeks been a little hectic but we are 100% back tomorrow and ready to go!!

Huge thank you to everyone that came out to the HotLunch The Whole Grain Hearth Bakery & Cafe Tuesday! We’re hoping to do another one in September if you weren’t able to make it out.

There’s still a few seats left for the Pasta Night with Little Perks Coffee Co & thecampusplaystudio. It’s going to be such a fun and casual evening. Very much looking forward to that.

We’re planning for a nice seasonal switch up next week. We will definitely be harvesting a majority of our arugula and basil for another round of pesto soon.

We also brought in a really beautiful 12 year aged balsamic this week to add to our provisions.

Can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!

Hot Lunch Popup!

We’re very excited and honoured The Whole Grain Hearth Bakery & Cafe is welcoming us into their cafe for the day. Giving us the opportunity to run a little hot lunch service with them!

Come on down, show us some love and crush some pasta for lunch.

Vesuvio…

named after its resemblance to Mount Vesuvius. The volcano that towers over Naples. Responsible for destroying the cities of Heraculaneum and Pompeii!

This pasta shape features a wide base with a hollow centre that swirls upward to a thin point.

Also know as Trottole meaning “spinning top” for the way it is extruded through the bronze die. Both names are used interchangeably.

Regardless of what you choose to call it this pasta shape is perfect paired with a cream sauce or chunky ragu. It also makes for a great choice in a pasta salad.

Available in the retail case this weekend.

Rigatoni!

One of the many bronze drawn fresh pasta shapes you’ll find in our retail case on Saturdays Trails End Farmers' Market 8am-4pm.

You can also purchase a small selection of our fresh pasta and sauces at a few retail locations in the area too.

We deliver to Little Perks Coffee Co every Thursday morning @ 8:30am. Perks is an amazing little coffee shop tucked into thecampusplaystudio it has been a great partnership for us. It has enabled us to get closer to our customer base on that side of London and the Komoka / Kilworth area.

You can also find us in St.Marys Towne & Country Cheese Shoppe . This was our very first partnership and a special one at that. Growing up in St.Marys, Jenn owned and operated the pizzeria Josh would frequently go to for lunch during school. It’s a real full circle partnership we hold dearly.

We’re also working with thepizzaclub.ca in London. They provide scratch made frozen sourdough pizza right to your door! They’re in various retail locations scattered throughout the area too.

We realize it’s tough for a lot of people to get out to us on a Saturday sometimes. Soon we will be accepting a few more of these partnerships so we can better accommodate everyone. We’re also looking into other avenues to expand our hours so stay tuned!
