Creamy, smooth Gouda-style cheese loaded with all those guacamole-inspired flavours… and now that we’ve cut into this beauty, our minds immediately went to one thing....

SANDWICHES. 🥪😂

We know some of you are already missing our Sandwich of the Week, so we thought we’d give you a little homework while we’re on our September sandwich break...

🍅🌿 Meet Oveja Rosemary 🌿🧀

A little conversation with one of our customers earlier today got us thinking about Oveja Rosemary and all the delicious ways to use it beyond the charcuterie board… and now we can’t stop thinking about this one. 😍

Think Caprese — with a Two Girls twist. 🍅

Oveja Rosemary is a beautiful Spanish sheep’s milk cheese coated in fragrant rosemary. It’s firm, rich, savoury and slightly nutty, with that gorgeous herby flavour from the rosemary.

Now grab some of those beautiful late-summer tomatoes, add thin shavings of Oveja Rosemary, fresh basil, a drizzle of good olive oil and a little balsamic glaze. Finish with cracked pepper and you’ve got a seriously delicious twist on a classic Caprese.

And don’t stop there…

🍅 Pile it onto crostini with chopped tomatoes & basil
🥔 Grate it over crispy roasted potatoes
🍝 Shave it over pasta
🍄 Add it to roasted mushrooms or veggies
🥖 Tuck it into a baguette with prosciutto & tomato
🍯 Or pair those tomatoes and Oveja with a tiny drizzle of hot honey… yes please.
