I’ve been really looking forward to sharing this one.
On June 4, I’m hosting a very intimate Truffle Supper Club evening in Toronto inspired by spring in Istria—one of Europe’s most quietly extraordinary food regions.
This is a one-night-only, limited-seating experience inside the private event space at Summerhill Market.
And if you know my events, you already know—these evenings don’t stay open for long.
There are dinners… and then there are nights people remember long after they end.
This is one of those.
Think:
fresh black truffles shaved over risotto at the table,
seasonal dishes inspired by spring in Istria,
shared plates, flowing wine,
and a long table that slowly turns into something warm, social, and alive.
It’s not formal. It’s not rushed.
It just unfolds beautifully.
Istria is where this is inspired from—wild truffle forests, mineral-rich soil, exceptional olive oil, indigenous wines, and a culture where hospitality means you are always looked after, and there is always more than enough at the table.
That’s the feeling I’m bringing into this evening.
I’ll be hosting alongside Chef Petar Budisa, and together we’re creating a fun, interactive shared-table experience built around truffles, seasonal dishes, and that easy energy that happens when people truly settle in together.
