Due to construction in Jonathan Ashbridge Park, we have decided that it was best for our vendors and community to plant new roots at our new home just around the corner at Greenwood and Dundas St.

Have you picked up your Farmers’ Market Passport yet?! Visit 20 farmers’ markets across Toronto this summer, collect stamps as you go, and once you collect 10+ stamps you’ll be entered to win market prizes.

Pick up your passport at the LFM Info Booth and start stamping!

ART BOOTH | WASTE PAPER COLLAGE PARTY!
9:30 AM 1:00 PM

Local artist Alison Thompson is BACK and is hosting a collage-making party at the Art Booth! Bring your old lists, cards, envelopes, calendars, magazines, and paper scraps from home and turn them into a one-of-a-kind collage.

All other supplies will be ready for you at the Art Booth, and Alison will be there to guide and cheer you on in the process!

*A fun, creative activity for anyone and everyone!

LIVE MUSIC | 9:30 AM 1:00 PM

We are so excited to welcome to the LFM stage for the first time this Sunday!!

Liam is a pianist and singer playing a mix of classic rock covers and original music. He also plays with , a country, blues, and rock band that has toured across Canada.

TEDDY BEAR CLINIC | 9 AM-1:30 PM

Speaking of , they’ll also be joining us with a Teddy Bear Clinic from 9 AM-1:30 PM! Bring your favourite bear or stuffed animal from home to register with the team, or adopt one onsite and send them through the clinic for a check-up.

KIDS CORNER: BUTTERFLY CRAFT | 9:30 AM-12:30 PM

We saw a monarch this week and took it as a sign! The kiddos are making butterflies! 🦋 free drop-in craft

Every time we think, “oh gosh, rain day….no one’s coming out today,” WE ARE SO WRONG!! Because there you all are with your umbrellas and rain jackets and soggy tote bags and wet dogs AND YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THIS MEANS TO ALL OF US!! 💛💛💛

So this is a special shoutout to everyone who came out to any farmers’ market this past weekend in the rain!! You are an absolute star, one could even say A SUPER TROUPER!! and we love you!!

Saturday may be giving rain, but Sunday is looking up… and we’re not going to talk about it any further and jinx it.

LIVE MUSIC this week is by a market favourite!! will be getting us dancing and grooving from 9:30 AM–1 PM 💃

At the Kids Corner, we’re matching the weekend weather vibes and making raindrops + umbrellas because we love a little theme! ☔️

And of course, the market itself!!!

Before we jump into this weekend can we just talk about LAST Sunday for a secccc because WHAT A DAY!! 🌳✨

The weather was giving absolute summmmer and Greenwood Park was literally glowing!! HUUUUGEEE round of applause to for fully transporting the market straight to a little Parisian café moment all Sunday ✨

And seriously, thank you for showing up and supporting our small farmers and small businesses and spending your Sundays with us!! We have such a great season planned for y’all and can’t wait to see you Sunday!💛

We’re excited to welcome back to the market! Nourish East End is one of our partners at the (our indoor market home and collaborative year-round food hub project)!

They’ll be joining us every second Sunday of the month to connect with the community about their programs and ways to get involved in supporting food access initiatives. They will also be accepting fresh food donations for the Nourish East End weekly food bank.💛

WHAT THE HECK Y’ALL!!!💗

What an absolutelyyy incredible opening day!! From all of us at the Leslieville Farmers’ Market we would like to say THAAAAANK YOUUUU! We are all completely blown away from all the community love!!

Pic #2 is a pretty accurate representation of what this week looked like for our team. Our hearts are so full and feeling so beyond grateful for this incredible community. Thank you for sharing your Sundays with us and showing up to support your local farmers and small businesses. It means more than you know!
