2021 was a challenging year for the Sharma family. My husband of 40 years was diagnosed with cancer early in the year, and we had been caring for him through surgery and radiation. On December 24, Niraj left his suffering.
Despite the sadness and pain that we continue to experience, I'm grateful for the opportunity that Meena's Kitchen has afforded me. Cooking is a way for me to feel connected to Niraj, and it gives me confidence in myself and my ability to support the family.
Thank you to all of you who have supported us so far. It means the world to me to be able to share my food with you.
As I'm also recovering from a wrist injury (bad timing), I’ll be resuming Meena's Kitchen on February 1. Hope to see you soon.
