Scheffler's Delicatessen & Cheese Family owned business located in the St. Lawrence Market. Our goal is to gather the largest selection of local & specialty foods.

Owner Odysseas Gounalakis came to Toronto from Greece in 1982 to study at York University. He found a part-time job in the St. Lawrence Market where he met his future wife Sandra. After many years working at the market the couple decided to open their own business and purchased Scheffler's Deli in 1992. d to learn as much about the trade as possible, and has reached many milestones along the way;

-Cheese Fundamentals for Retailers Certificate - Nov. 2006

-Runner-up in Canada's Cheese Merchant Profession National Comepetition - Oct. 2010

-Participated in "Encuentro Internacional de la Cocina del Aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra" (International Meeting-cooking with Olive Oil) - Spain, Feb. 2011
