Trinity Bellwoods Farmers' Market Tues 3-7, ☀️or ☔️ May to Oct. Seasonal farmers’ market focused on local agriculture & food artisans using local ingredients. In off season we hibernate.

Human food only, no services, craft, or handouts. All participants have been curated and vetted. Established in 2007, the market is run by the generosity of seasonal volunteers. TBFM is a market of modest size that brings fresh, local, sustainably grown and certified organic produce/product to the community. We are people food and agriculture focused and do not consider non-food vendors, pet food,

resellers, craft, services or distribution. Best mode of contact is via the appropriate contact form at website. Responses will not be immediate. Thank you for your patience. Shelling peas are in & have a short window. Stock up, eat fresh or cooked. Get extra to freeze a bag of peas to enjoy year round. 🫛🫛 🫛 find Matz stall 🧑🏻‍🌾

Asparagus hopefully will show for a few more Tuesdays. Also freeze well for fall/winter soups 🥣 😋

aka 😊 An unusual and underrated crop. Flavour is spinach like, slightly salty, hearty texture. Good side dish or as a salad base. Commonly blanched or sauteed with olive oil and ramps! Experiment!

Found at footsteporganics. The next 2 wks are out of the greenhouse. Then a wait for field harvest hopefully in August.

Collect stamps from participating markets starting June 6 to Sept 21. Suggested donation of $5 cash for a passport.

Toronto Public Markets Week is June 6–13 is a city-wide spotlight on Toronto’s more than 160 public markets! Yes that many 🤩

Public markets include farmers’ markets (farmer focused) and markets (flea, artisan, vintage, specialty, mixed). They operate independently from each other yet collectively these spaces are vital hubs that support our local economy and create a network to strengthen this sector.
