The Junction Farmers Market

An independent non-profit local farmers' market in the heart of The Junction, Toronto. Returning o Our Goals:

1.

Create a diverse and vibrant space where community members can gather to find healthy, local and ecologically sustainable food.

2. Facilitate relationship building between community members and local farmers, increasing awareness of the importance of local and sustainable farming.

3. Promote equitable access to healthy food by strategizing with community partners on food justice initiatives and

increasing dignified access to sustainable foods for all community members. Our Values:

Community ~ We value a welcoming space for all community members to meet, shop, talk, eat – building a thriving local economy and healthy community. Sustainability ~ We value the economic, social, environmental, and health benefits of buying local, sustainably produced foods. Equity ~ We value an alternative food system, where all community members have equitable access to food, and where farmers are rewarded fairly for the important work they do.

Tomorrow is the day! The junction farmer market is back in Baird Park from 9 am to 1 pm every Saturday morning from May 16 to October 31! Come and enjoy all of the seasons best local produce and eat fantastic local food and listen to some great local musicians! In short, it will be a great local time!

Just over a month until we are back in Baird park!! We cannot wait to bring the junction farmers market back to the community! We will be there every Saturday from May 16 to October 31 of 2026 from 9am to 1pm!!

We are very excited to officially open vendor applications for the 2026 summer season of the Junction Farmers Market and we would love to welcome both returning favourites and brand new faces to the market. If you have sold with us before, we would be thrilled to have you back. We are a lively neighbourhood market with a strong sense of community, loyal shoppers, great music, and a deep love for local food, handmade goods, and small businesses that care about what they do.

We are looking for farmers, food producers, bakers, artisans, prepared food vendors, and specialty makers who share our values of quality, sustainability, and community connection. Returning vendors should reapply as spots are not automatically rolled over, and new vendors are strongly encouraged to apply even if you are unsure. We love discovering new vendors and helping them grow alongside the market.

The 2026 season is shaping up to be a great one, with plans for fun weekly activations, live music, special events, and lots of reasons for customers to keep coming back week after week.

If you have questions or want to talk something through, do not hesitate to reach out. We are always happy to chat.
