After much thought, we have decided to remain open today. We are aware that air quality has not improved since yesterday. The City of Toronto has cancelled outdoor events and closed public pools, and Environment Canada is advising people to limit their time outdoors today.
At the same time, we recognize that many vendors have already spent hours preparing for the market, and cancelling it at this stage could result in wasted products and lost preparation time. Many vendors are choosing to adapt to the conditions today by offering grab and go options, to limit time outdoors. We urge everyone to do what is best for themselves today, even if that means skipping this week! Thank you for your understanding.
