It is a turnover or mold of pastry filled with chopped or ground meat, vegetables, fruit, or cheese... You can put anything you like, it can be sweet or savory. I have this addiction with empanada - for years I`d been developing and trying different kinds of pastry dough, and after many years in the kitchen :) Here it is
