For short-term storage, keep your hazelnuts in the refrigerator. An airtight container is best, as it protects them from absorbing other flavors and humidity. This keeps them fresh, crunchy, and tasty for up to six months.
For long-term storage, freezing is ideal. Place hazelnuts in a freezer-safe container or vacuum-sealed bag. They'll last up to a year in the freezer, retaining their natural oils, flavour, and crunch.
