You’ve probably seen those three little letters on some of our Italian products , but they mean a lot more than you might think.

DOP (Denominazione di Origine Protetta) means a product is made, processed and produced in a specific region of Italy, following traditional methods and strict standards.

And that’s exactly why we bring these ingredients to Salina.

Because when it comes to Italian food, where it comes from matters. The region, the tradition, the people who make it — it’s all part of what makes the ingredient what it is.
