Tree and Twig Heirloom Vegetable Farm I grow all varieties of heirloom vegetables organically, raise and sell seed and heirloom veg transplants too. Heirloom tomatoes are my speciality.

I grow heirloom vegetables on my small farm in Wellandport, Niagara , Canada. I sell seed, transplants and produce in season. I am a lifetime member of Seed Savers Exchange, and a proud test gardener for Rodale's" Organic Gardening"magazine. I take in strays and rescues and respect all living creatures, except squash bugs, potato bugs and the like.

Last winter I gathered up all my seed(except tomatoes and peppers) that was 5 years or older, put it in bags and saved it to plant this year. Well…I have 27 rows of wonderful stuff growing very happily and everything you can imagine. Sesame , peanuts cukes, melons, so much lettuce and so much more. This makes me extremely happy. So the moral of the story is don’t give up on old seed. And store it properly.

I have about 1000 heirloom tomato seedlings , about 50 varieties and a nice little selection of pepper plants and a few other things for sale . I’ll be open this Saturday, May 9 th at 10 am and will be open until they’re gone. Hope to see some familiar faces.

I've planted more tomato seedlings than I will use this year-about 1000 too many, 50 or so varieties. I'll be selling these if anyone is interested, starting Saturday May 9th around 10 am. Same price=$4., cash only. These are all my favourites, and really, really good. I'll stay open until they're all gone.
