🔸️A lot of people ask us what we do off-season when we aren't so busy. Truth is, life on a maple syrup farm is always busy. There is always syrup to bottle and deliver. Equipment to fix and maintain. Sales calls and appointments to keep and emails to respond to.

🔸️But sometimes we take a break and enjoy a family walk thru the maple bush. We look for spring flowers and admire the trilliums. And the guys talk about which dead trees need to come down and be cleaned up.

🔸️Yes the pace has slowed down a little since sap season is over, and we are glad.

🍁 The last couple weeks have been busy with bush clean up. Now that syrup season is over we pull all the spiles and wash the pipeline so everything is clean and ready for next year.

🍁 It's a time consuming job to get to every spile and disinfect every line but also a great time to be out enjoying springtime!

🍁 We had a great day at the Flanagan Food Show yesterday! It was great connecting with many amazing people and showcasing our maple syrup and BBQ sauce.

Thankyou!!! 👏
To all who braved the rain/cold on Saturday to support us at our Maple Weekend event. The rain stopped by noon and the afternoon was decent so we were able to carry on with wagon rides as planned.

A special thanks to Nate for serving us his incredible smoked pulled pork on a bun. It did not disappoint!
