2025 is a milestone year for Melissa’s Cotton Candy! My dad and I started this little business when I was 8 years old back in 2000. It is hard to believe this years marks 25 years of making cotton candy.

Through the years I have gone from selling containers of cotton candy at gas stations all over southern Alberta, to setting up at birthdays and weddings. These days I mainly do markets and community events and the odd fundraiser. The capacity which I run has changed but offering delicious, flavourful and fresh cotton candy has always stayed the same.

Little Melissa would be so proud to see how far we’ve come and grown Melissa can’t wait to see how much further we can go.
