Happy Labour Day fish fans! A few notes about the coming week:

We are open today! Be aware that the fish store has very limited selection: we're down to frozen rainbow trout. We're happy to sell you some of the haddock we're using over in the kitchen too, if you want to take some home to cook yourself. Because we need fresh fish to make smoked fish, we're sold out of that, too. "Down to frozen rainbow trout" really means we *only* have frozen rainbow trout, nothing else – no, not even that other thing you're about to ask about!

Don't worry, though! This isn't unusual for this time of year. Wild-caught fish will return, we just can't tell you exactly when. On the downside, please note that our salmon will be delayed until THURSDAY this week because of the holiday today (which means, in turn, no smoked salmon until Friday).

In fish kitchen news, we're continuing to serve Haddock. Although we would prefer to use local fish, we feel haddock is the next best thing. We source from Canadian fisheries in Nova Scotia, and it tastes great in fish & chips.

Finally, it's back to school season. The fish kitchen will be CLOSED for one day only on TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 8th (that's tomorrow) while chef gets his kids back into the school schedule. We'll be back to our regular schedule on Wednesday

Hey everyone! Happy Thursday September 3rd!!! Wow what a great Summer!!! It still is Summertime:) Today we have a very limited amount of whitefish and laketrout. We also have fresh Salmon and smoked Salmon smoking ready for 3 pm. Our kitchen is still open and will be till further notice. We are serving Haddock today and Tacos will be back on the menu once our friends from New Life Farm make their weekly micro delivery. Remember first come first served. Hi folks – a quick update for Sunday August 30th.

We're still short on fish! There's nothing fresh today, so you'll have to settle for the frozen rainbow trout (which, in my opinion, isn't settling at all because it's delicious). We are happy to give you some of the frozen haddock we have in to keep the fish and chips window up and running, too.

Speaking of, we're continuing to serve haddock for fish and chips! Thanks to everyone who has been coming in and enjoying it, and indeed for everyone's patience when there's a line-up.

We may not be able to make smoked fish for a few days. At the latest, we'll be smoking again on Wednesday

Good morning fish friends!!! Today is Wednesday August 26th. We’ve had a windy week so that means not a lot of fish coming in right now. We do however have fresh Salmon! In the freezer we have vacuum sealed Whitefish!!!! and Rainbow Trout. We will have smoked Salmon ready to go around 3pm. We are serving Haddock in the kitchen today (wild caught Canadian). You can also take some home if you do t want us to cook it. Hope to see you all soon. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🐟

Happy Saturday August 22nd everyone!!! Today we have fresh Whitefish!!!!! Rainbow Trout and a bit of Salmon left. Whitefish is in the smokers ready for 3pm. We will be serving Haddock in the kitchen for fish and chips today. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🐟🐟🐟🐟

Happy Monday fish friends! An update on the week ahead:

The fish and chips kitchen will be CLOSED Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Aug 18, 19, & 20) this week so Chef can have a few summer vacation days with his family before back-to-school time is upon us (and so our hard working staff can have their regular days off). The kitchen is open today (Monday Aug 17), and will be back Friday! We know it can be disappointing to miss out on fish and chips, but look at the silver lining: this is the perfect opportunity to try out that new fish recipe at home!

And good news on that front – the fresh fish store will remain open everyday, and we still have plenty of Whitefish! Salmon will arrive on Tuesday, and we have our order of 500lbs of Rainbow trout fillets on deck for arrival Wednesday.

Smoked fish is back on, too! We'll have a batch of Whitefish around 3 today, another batch of Whitefish tomorrow, and I'll get some salmon in the smokers on Wednesday.

Good morning fish fans! As promised, it's (just slightly after) 9am Sunday morning (August 16th), and the Whitefish is here and ready to go!

The first kitchen will be open from 11:30, where we'll continue serving Haddock

Hi fish friends - the fresh, frozen, and smoked fish side of the business is SOLD OUT today, Saturday August 15th.

Fret not, however! We'll be back Sunday Morning (that's tomorrow!) with fresh Whitefish! Yes really! There's lots, but as always, first come, first served. (You can't sweet talk me into saving some for you, but I promise there's plenty to go around 🐟🐟🐟)

Salmon will arrive Tuesday, Fresh rainbow trout Wednesday. We'll make a batch of smoked fish as soon as we're able, but that likely won't happen until Monday or Tuesday (it'll be Whitefish).

The kitchen remains OPEN, where we continue to serve haddock.

Hello everybody! Today is Friday August 14th. We have a very small amount of fish in the store today. Why? Every August the water gets warm and it gets progressively harder to get wild caught local fish as they like to go deeper than nets will go. It’s the same story as last year and the previous 75 years we have on record. Add warm water, windy conditions, and moon cycles and it adds up to poor fishing. We will post when we have fish again. It will come, and you’ll all be the first to know.
What do we have? We have about 50 lbs of fresh salmon today. We have some frozen Rainbow trout (more arriving next Wednesday) and a ton of frozen I.Q.F. wild caught Canadian Haddock. We have smoked salmon in the smoker ready for 3pm today.
In the kitchen we will be serving haddock for fish and chips and tacos.
Thanks for your patience with the fishuation. We will let everyone know the minute we have things available for you. ❤️❤️❤️🐟🐟🐟❤️
