OMG. You do not want to miss this. Today's sandwiches will feature our own take on a Reuben sandwich. Our own beef brisket, brined to make a corned beef. Slow cooked then piled onto our house made "lumberjack" bun. . Topped with pickled slaw, cheddar cheese and a special dressing. Its sure to chase the cool spring weather away.

Oops, I got a little carried away folks... I did a little too much baking and then we had some weather interruptions this afternoon SO! I'm going to stay open a little later today. We also have some meat pies, fresh lamb and fresh whole chickens still available so its not too late to plan a local meal for Mom.

Shhhh, we are quietly starting the fresh chicken season today. All cuts and small whole chickens will be at the Owen Sound Farmers Market today. We will start filling orders for 10 pound boxes next weekend.
We are doing what we can to avoid a price increase. One thing that helps is if we sell all our birds each week. So come on out to market and buy it up folks:)
