***Hi Facebook, thanks for doing your thing. Our vehicle was located, still don’t know if there is damage or the condition but that’s better than nothing for now. I appreciate the kindness and support so many people provided in sharing this and spreading the word. For the select few who felt that a “$300 vehicle isn’t worth the effort” I would like to just say that while our vehicle may not be worth the effort the general attempt to decrease crime in our community, and holding those who commit said crimes is worth much more, this is more than just an old van it is the how we sell our products and how we pay the bills. I sincerely hope that your livelihood is never taken away from you, and if it is I hope that people will meet you with kindness and compassion. Again, thank you to everyone who commented and shared. 💕***

I realize that lots of people are struggling right now.. but I suspect whoever decided to help himself to a vehicle that doesn’t belong to them did not do so out of struggle more likely out of wish to go for a joyride.. but over the last few years farming has really not been profitable so removing our ability to actually make it to a market to try and sell anything make the struggle of trying to keep things going that much harder. We are just trying to get by like everyone else and keep our family fed and a roof over their head but having our ability to actually make money taken really goes beyond just a crappy farm van, it impacts real people with real families and real struggles.. — at Kingston Farmers Market NS.

A great family activity for this weekend.

👨‍🚒 Members of Sackville Fire & Rescue will be at the Sackville Farmers Market this Saturday, June 20, with some exciting activities for community:

🗣️ Visit the booth: Fire service members will be there to chat with booth visitors, share helpful safety info, and to run a couple events from the booth, including:

🚒 Touch a Truck: Firefighters will also be onsite to show kids the ins and outs of firetrucks using Sackville Fire’s Engine 2. Kids can see for themselves, alongside a firefighter, the gear, buttons, and tools used when fighting fires.

🔥 Free swag: Visit the booth and grab some free FireSmart swag (while supplies last).

🎫 Win a cooler contest: Booth visitors will be entered to win a FireSmart Coleman-brand cooler, which will be raffled off on June 25.
