50 years of selling watermelons!

In 1974 Lawrence was stuck in Texas with no load. And you don’t want to go anywhere with an empty trailer. He struck up a deal with a Texas farmer to haul watermelons to Winkler. He didn’t have enough cash to pay up front, but the farmer trusted him enough to let him haul away on credit.

And that’s how we became “the watermelon people”

Why did the blueberry join a band?
Because it had great jam sessions 😉

We just got BC blueberries in and they are looking berry delicious! As the weather slowly turns cooler, it’s the perfect time to do a canning day or catch up on your baking. We have strawberries, blueberries, peach’s, nectarines, apples and more!
