What a weekend at the Winnipeg Beach Farmers Market!

Friday, Saturday AND Sunday, three days of shopping local, catching up with familiar faces, meeting new ones and enjoying those little market moments that make us love doing this. 🛍️❤️

And then there was Saturday… 😂

🌧️ It rained.
🌧️ It misted.
🌧️ The weather couldn't quite make up its mind.

BUT WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME ANYWAY!

Because when the Bannock Queen is in the house… THE QUEEN HOLDS COURT! 👑😂

Martine Sawanas joined us Saturday, and between the conversations, laughs, and visits, she brought a whole lot of fun to a grey and rainy Beach day. ❤️

Unfortunately, Martine wasn't able to return Sunday due to a family emergency. We're sending our very best to Martine and her family and hope everything is okay. ❤️

And apparently everyone came ready to SHOP this weekend because…

Yep. GONE.

Thank you to every single person who stopped in over the three days, whether you bought something, chatted with a vendor, brought a friend, shared our posts or simply wandered through to see what was happening.

YOU are what keeps a community market going. ❤️

Some weekends are big.
Some are small.
Some are sunny.
Some are rainy.
Some involve a QUEEN holding court in the middle of it all. 👑😂

This was brought to our attention today, and we need to clear something up IMMEDIATELY.

An email is being sent to vendors advertising a “Winnipeg Christmas Market 2026” at the RBC Convention Centre.

The email shown to us is coming from:

[email protected]

⚠️ THIS IS NOT US. ⚠️

It is NOT the Winnipeg Beach Farmers Market.
It is NOT the New Iceland Farmers Market.
It is NOT affiliated with either of our markets in ANY way.

Because the email address contains “winnipegbeachfarmers,” we are concerned that vendors may see it and assume it has something to do with our Winnipeg Beach Farmers Market.

IT DOES NOT.

We have not changed our email address, we are not organizing a Winnipeg Christmas Market at the RBC Convention Centre, and we are not collecting vendor applications or payments for this event.

If you receive this email, please do not send money, personal information or banking information.

And PLEASE share this post with your vendor friends. ❤️

Scammers deliberately use names and email addresses that look familiar because they're hoping someone won't stop long enough to question it.

Well... we're questioning it. 👀

Our vendors work WAY too hard for their money to hand it over to someone pretending to be something they're not.

If you EVER receive an email claiming to be from one of our markets and something feels off, message us directly.

We would much rather answer 100 “Is this actually you?” messages than hear that one of our vendors was scammed.
