Greetings Sandy Hook Soap Factory friends,

Due to ridiculous website related costs these days we are forced to take a different route to avoid raising our product prices to accommodate rather exorbitant increases. Though I am sad to do so, in October 2025 we will be letting the website go.

We are further developing our Facebook presence and in the process of creating this new Page called Handmade Natural Soap which will serve as a catalogue for our products. To see our catalogue you will need to navigate to the new Page, then to Photos and Photo Albums to see the listings. They will be well organized and categorized there. A little inconvenient, but I feel it is worth it to save money for us all.

As the shopping cart will be defunct, orders will be taken by email or telephone at 204-389-2303 (no texts) and payment made by e-transfer or credit card by way of PayPal invoice or Square invoice sent to your email box. We will calculate any discounts, sales taxes and shipping charges at time of ordering and prior to payment.

Please Follow our new Page. We will be keeping old time favourites but will be streamlining our product line as well. Be assured that nothing to do with our integrity, quality of ingredients or handmade method will be changing. Prices have not changed for almost two years and due to this adjustment, will be holding steady at this time.

This is a dead honeybee. The pollen on her legs is from dandelions. Her tongue is sticking out due to what killed her that was on the dandelions.
It’s spring, dandelions are the bees first food. This bee is dead from w**d killer spread on what we see as w**ds, but what nature sees as food. Please don’t spray for w**ds until you see the blackberries blooming. In this area, w**ds, flowers and fruit trees are bees only source of food until middle of June. There are FAR more w**ds than flowers or fruit trees, so it's their only food source. No bees, no food crops for us and we all starve.

Strawberries got their name from farmers covering the plants with straw in Autumn, to hold moisture in the soil and protect the berries from w**ds in Spring and dirt in Summer. If Driscoll’s covers the ground with plastic instead of straw, shouldn’t we call their produce plasticberries? TAKE ACT...
