Job Requirements:
• Somali Cuisine Cook must have knowlege of and 3-5 years of commercial cooking experience working in preparing Somali Cuisine items.

• Candidate must have the ability to work independantly without supervision, must be able to plan menus, oversee buffett, and prepare individual, complete and special dishes on menu.

• Salary $22.50 per hour + benefits.

• Minimum 40 hours per week, must be available to work on shifts.

Meat Cutter/Butcher

Our meat department is looking for a skilled and passionate person to join our team! You'll be able to utilize your skills and creativity in a fun, challenging and fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer service. The ideal candidate will work alongside our current meat manager, learn the day-to-day operations and ultimately develop a plan to assume the leadership of the department over time.

• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Tasks
• Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
• Cut carcasses, sides and quarters
• Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
• Remove bones from meat
• Cut poultry into parts
• Supervise other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers
• Grind meats
• Train meat cutters
• Slice cooked meats
• Prepare special orders
• Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood Equipment and machinery experience
• Band saw
• Manual cutting utensil
• Power grinder
• Slicing machine
