We are a CSA farm growing exclusively open pollinated varieties using organic practices. Stewarded by the Metanoia Farmers Worker Co-op.

The Metanoia Farmers Worker Co-op is a group of CMU alumni emerging as farmers. We grow exclusively open pollinated varieties using organic practices to provide food to urban eaters. Very excited to share that we've got a full team of 25 community growers joining the farm collective for the growing season! Including our team of hen herders and several committed volunteers, we'll have around 40 folks coming and going from the farm this summer🥳

We're looking forward to the friendly buzz of a farm full of folks, and can hardly believe that collective work shifts will begin in just four short weeks! 🌱

🌾 Straw has arrived on the farm! With our permanent, no-till bed system, having an abundant supply of mulch is critical to help suppress w**ds and hold onto the season's moisture.

We're grateful that we could buy these bales from our friends at Ferme Fiola Farm. If you were at Festival du Voyageur and took a seat on a strawbale next to a firepit, there's a good chance that straw is now on our farm!

Metanoia's Farm Team is responsible for the behind-the-scenes administration, visioning, and decision-making work that makes it possible for the farm to exist.
Our Farm Coordinator is paid to implement the farm vision across farm operations, carrying the mental load for the farm as a whole, delegating tasks to the Farm Team, and doing the often less-glamorous office work that makes all of our experience with Metanoia Farmers possible.

Kay has been farming with Metanoia since 2021. On the farm they love burying their nose into handfuls of spring soil, braiding onions, and eating cherry tomatoes directly off the vine. They also love thinking structurally, organizing people, and building new relationships as farm coordinator. Off the farm, they are pursuing their Master of Marriage and Family Therapy at University of Winnipeg.

🌿 Along with planting, watering, w**ding, and harvest, farming with us tends to include a lot of laughter, conversation, possibly some silly pranks, and definitely some incredible snack potlucks.

Come to get your hands dirty and learn new gardening skills; stay to linger at the end of the night chatting with new friends and snacking on a carrot! 🥕

trey has been farming with metanoia since 2022. he went bungee jumping once, it was scary and kinda awesome. he has a little skeleton inside of him talking to him at all times. but it doesn’t speak english, just an unidentified creaky language of sorts. most of all, trey is very nice 👍.

Marika is a long-time friend of the Metanoia Farmers. She grew up in a big city, but always dreamed of being a farmer and an artist. In her 9-5, Marika enjoys supporting older adults and their families through the process of aging. Her real full-time job is staying silly and making art out of her everyday life: cooking, gardening, cycling, running, mending and creating.
