Since yesterday, I've read some bike riders argue that they remove some parts from their bikes in order to put them back when they want to sell. This sounds interesting to the ear, but if you look at it critically, it doesn't make much sense.✍️
Firstly, you're going to take a lot of risks riding without rear mirrors, turn signal lights, helmet etc; all in the name of making the bike to "look new" when you want to sell😂🤭
Secondly, your used bike will only "look new" in the eyes of someone who knows little or nothing about bikes. The heart of a bike is the engine and not the peripheral parts.🤭
Also, you may be tempted to ride roughly because you're not afraid of breaking your mirror, signal light etc; which can be dangerous to other road users.✍️
Conclusively, it is only your programmed mindset that makes you to think as such. Many bike riders still take good care of their bikes without removing any parts, and still sell at a good price whenever they decide to sell it.🥳
Moral lesson: If I be na you, next time I go remove na engine keepam so that e go remain new when I want sell the bike 🥴🙌🏾
