How to Make one of the healthiest food “ Kimchi “ at Home

1️⃣ Prep your cabbage:
Wash and chop 2 napa cabbages, then sprinkle 60g natural salt and let them sit until softened.

2️⃣ Make your sauces:
• Rice flour base: Mix 400ml water + 40g rice flour + 10g sugar + 40ml soy sauce in cold water. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, then let it cool.
• Ginger–garlic sauce: Blend 100g ginger + 100g garlic + 100ml water + 90ml fish sauce until slightly chunky. Add 40g chili flakes, then mix it with the cooled rice flour sauce.

3️⃣ Add your veggies:
Prepare 200g carrots, 200g daikon, and 120g spring onions—all cut into thin sticks.

4️⃣ Combine:
Rinse and gently squeeze the salted cabbage to remove excess water.
Mix everything together thoroughly with your hands (use gloves!) so all the veggies are coated with the sauce.

5️⃣ Ferment:
Pack your kimchi into a clean fermentation glass.
Let it sit at room temperature for a couple of days.
💨 Remember to “burp” your jar daily to release gases and avoid explosions!

Then let time do its magic — your probiotic-rich, tangy kimchi will be ready to enjoy! 🌶️💛
