🌱🎃🌽 Pumpkins & Sweetcorn – The Perfect Growing Partnership! 🌽🎃🌱

Our pumpkins are thriving amongst the sweetcorn this year, and it's a great example of companion planting in action!

The sweetcorn provides light shade to help keep the soil cooler during these hot summer days, while the large pumpkin leaves act as a living mulch, helping retain moisture and suppress weeds. Together they make excellent use of the growing space and create a healthy, productive crop.

All grown naturally, without pesticides, right here on our farm. 🚜☀️

We can't wait to see these pumpkins developing over the coming weeks!

Nuestras calabazas están creciendo entre el maíz dulce este año, un gran ejemplo de cultivo asociado.

It was so busy today that we didn’t even have a chance to post what we had on offer! A huge thank you to everyone who came by and supported us. 💚🍉🥕🍅

For the last three weeks at the San Fulgencio Market near the N332, we've had the pleasure of being opposite Tropical Orange, and I just have to give them a shout-out!

Every week I've treated myself to one of their freshly made juices, and they are absolutely amazing. 🍊🥭🍍 They're prepared right there on the spot using fresh ingredients, and you can really taste the difference.

If you're visiting the market, I highly recommend stopping by and giving them a try. It's always great to support fellow local businesses, especially when they offer such fantastic quality.

Durante las últimas tres semanas en el Mercado de San Fulgencio, junto a la N332, hemos tenido el placer de estar justo enfrente de Tropical Orange, ¡y quería dedicarles unas palabras!

Cada semana me compro uno de sus zumos recién preparados y puedo decir que están riquísimos. 🍊🥭🍍 Los hacen al momento con ingredientes frescos, y realmente se nota la calidad.

Si visitas el mercado, te recomiendo muchísimo que pases por su puesto y pruebes uno. Siempre es un placer apoyar a otros pequeños negocios locales, especialmente cuando ofrecen un producto tan bueno.
