More pieces received in these days…what a productive creative life! I’m amazed by the richness, the styles, the color matches and combinations, the different color tendencies …from more acidic colors to pastel shades, to more gentle to funky choices, the shapes, the changes I notice in his work along the years, the infinite variety he was exploring…I am also beautifully amazed, as I receive more and more pictures of his work, also that I had no idea about, and by finding more and more pieces in his house, by the amount of time he spent painting and cooking, the creative solo time, the silent hours (maybe/surely filled with his radio playing all the time) he spent following his vocations …the meaning (and the result) of having a passion, a clear idea of what mattered to him. His priorities, and how he wanted to spend most of his time when he wasn’t out and about working in other people’s homes, including ours. I know why he was in a rush sometimes, why he had the urge to leave, what it meant when he told us he was fascinated, satisfied and excited about a work he was doing.

New jams from a very special collection of citrus fruits from Spain! Yuzu is my favorite!! I shared them and gave them to try to a few friends because I couldn’t choose by myself! Finally I got the selection!!

Rainbow chard palette 🎨 🌈🧡🩷☀️… a temporary canvas on a black plastic board … just loving it! Sometimes after washing and chopping veggies, among the left overs I find the most beautiful and unexpected colors and textures …as if it was a metaphor of life self …

What a great and easy snack and/or addition to dishes!! Toasted seeds (pumpkin and sunflower) mixed with soya sauce or with maple syrup… I never thought I really liked seeds, but these are irresistible…just leave them in a bowl on the table and they will be finished before you can even imagine! My kids love them too…and when I still think I did too many, I put them in small jars and give them to friends…everybody loves them!

New friends, new passions, new discoveries, new food, new landscapes, new sports …so good to travel!! Enjoying a family break in Sri Lanka, seeing curious kids growing stimulated by waves and curries …makes us so happy!!
