The Paella is Known as one of our best spanish food dishes ... there are so many different ways to make an authentic paella from Spain it only depends on the Spanish town where paella is made.I will offer you my favorite Spanish paella recipe….
Paella Valenciana Ingredients:
½ chicken, ½ rabbit, ¼ green beans, ¼ large white beans, ½ kg of pre baked snails, ½ cup of peas, 1 red pepper, 1 bared tomato, 1 paprika teaspoon, 1 garlic 300 g rice, Olive Oil and Saffron
First of all place the garlic and a little bit of oil which should cover the entire bottom of the pan. Then add the bared tomato and fry all together. After this you should add chicken and rabbit and fry. Then beans and peas are added and the whole is stirred with a wooden spoon. Then snails and paprika. At this moment we place the water (water must be twice in volume than rice), add salt and saffron, low heat for about 15 minutes and when starts boiling add rice. Leave on at medium heat for 20 minutes. Finally decorate your Valencian Paella by placing over red pepper strips. Wait 10 minutes before serving and enjoy the good taste of Spanish paella .....Spanish dishes taste marvellows !!!!!

Let´s talk obout the fantastic and delicious Spanish Iberico Ham that we can find among the Spanish food.
The Spanish Jamón Serrano is very important and typical in Spanish culture …!!!! everybody that has tasted it loves it. It is great as a starter and you can also combine it with fresh tomato and olive oil. It is perfect in baguettes for your quick lunch and it is gorgeous as a quick snack. It is common to go into a Spanish tapas bar and find a lot of Spanish hams hanging from the ceiling all over the bar….
If you have visited Spain you have heard about Jamón Serrano, Jamón Iberico, Jamón Ibérico de bellota, patanegra and some other names for the Spanish ham which depends mainly on how the animal was fed.
Let´s make a very brief review on this matter………. The Jamón Serrano comes from the back legs of the white pig. These pigs are fed on fodder and raised in compounds. For Jamón Iberico, the pig must be at least a 50 % pure breed Iberian, these ham is considered of a higher quality. If the ham is called Jamón Iberico de Bellota, it means that the pig has been fed on acorns therefore obtaining a high quality taste as a result. The patanegra name refers to the ham made from an Iberian pig that has black hooves is the highest quality of Spanish ham.
Let ´s give you a couple of easy suggestions to use Jamón Serrano while cooking at home. It is great sautéed with green peas and onions and it is fantastic if diced in you carbonara sauce for your Italian pasta ……….but do not forget to taste it is freshly cut in thin slices and at room temperature and to take a look at the great variety of Spanish hams that we offer you at www.spaingourmetfood.com and remember that there is always a name for the Spanish Ham that will best suit your taste…. !!!

Salón del Gourmets 2014, cita ineludible para los mejores profesionales de la prensa gastronómica, restauradores de toda la península y los clientes más exigentes. El Salón de Gourmets 2014 ha alcanzado nuevamente el éxito esperado cubriendo así las expectativas de los asistentes a la feria. A pesar de la incertidumbre palpable por un momento marcado por la crisis en España y la presencia de un número menor de expositores en relación a años anteriores, se ha contado con un buen número de stands y una atención excelente, un trato personalizado para todos los asistentes que han podido comprobar la alta calidad de los productos exhibidos.
