El VII Ibiza Wellness Weekend se celebra por toda la isla del 16 al 18 de octubre, y nosotros participaremos el sábado por la mañana.

De 10:00 a 14:00 habrá actividades al aire libre y talleres en la finca —huerto, encurtidos y sahumerios, senderismo consciente, bicicletas eléctricas y Meharis eléctricos—, además de una cata a cargo nuestro 🍴

El resto del fin de semana se celebra en otros lugares de la isla: teatro en Sant Joan el viernes, clases magistrales en el Palacio de Congresos el sábado por la tarde y un día completo de pilates, yoga, demostraciones culinarias y música en directo en Ca na Xica el domingo.

The VII Ibiza Wellness Weekend is happening across the island from 16–18 October, and we're taking part on the Saturday morning.

From 10:00 to 14:00 there'll be outdoor activities and workshops at the farm: kitchen garden, pickling and sahumerios, mindful trekking, e-bikes and electric Meharis, plus a tasting from us 🍴

The rest of the weekend runs elsewhere on the island: theatre in Sant Joan on the Friday, masterclasses at the Palacio de Congresos on Saturday afternoon, and a full day of pilates, yoga, showcooking and live music at Ca na Xica on the Sunday.

Across four European regions, we are building a digital database of local flora and fauna, creating a way for all of us to learn about biodiversity, and to get involved in looking after it.

Next up in our Thrive farmer spotlight: Blacknose, sitting at 320m in the hills above Sant Joan de Labritja, the highest vineyard and olive grove on the island.

When fire tore through the pine forest of the Morna Valley in 2011, it exposed centuries-old dry-stone terraces that had been hidden beneath the trees.

Brothers Peter and Tino Lehner saw what the land had once been and set about bringing it back, restoring many of the dry stone walls and planting vines and olive trees where the terraces had reappeared. They grew various cereals and veg before finally planting the first vine in 2014.

Today they farm organically and biodynamically producing organic w**e and olive oil, on terraces that had been waiting under the trees for a century.

El siguiente protagonista de nuestra sección Thrive: Blacknose, situado a 320 m de altitud en las colinas que dominan Sant Joan de Labritja, el viñedo y olivar más alto de la isla.

Cuando el fuego arrasó el pinar del valle de la Morna en 2011, dejó al descubierto unas terrazas de piedra seca centenarias que habían permanecido ocultas bajo los árboles.

Los hermanos Peter y Tino Lehner vieron cómo había sido aquella tierra en el pasado y se propusieron recuperarla, restaurando muchos de los muros de piedra seca y plantando viñas y olivos donde habían reaparecido las terrazas. Cultivaron diversos cereales y hortalizas antes de plantar finalmente la primera vid en 2014.

Hoy en día practican la agricultura ecológica y biodinámica, produciendo vino y aceite de oliva ecológicos en unas terrazas que llevaban un siglo esperando bajo los árboles.
